A Credit Card Will Be OK at All Shops

A credit card can be used at all shops affiliated with a competing credit card company from September.
The Financial Supervisory Service (FSC) announced on May 11 that it will allow multiple credit card support beginning September 1.
Accordingly, it is estimated that the inconvenience for an individual currently required to have many credit cards will disappear, and that the improper use of lost or stolen credit cards will decline.
FSC said that the cost of issuing credit cards
can be reduced up to 21 billion won because the number of issued credit cards will sharply decreased during the initial period of the new system.
The total number of the credit cards as of the end of last year amounted to 40,700,000. And an individual is estimated to have on averaged 2. 7 credit cards.
