Police to Punish Harshly All MBC Intruders

The police decided on May 12 to apply for the arrest warrant for 6 believers of Manmin Joong-ang Church on suspicion of breaking into the Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation(MBC)'s master control room and stopping the broadcasting.
The investigated revolves around the circumstances of the intrusion and whether the church directed it.
The police also questioned MBC staff who observed the situation.
The police plan to punish all the intruders after analyzing the video tape that recorded the accident.
A police official said, 'To stop broadcasting by breaking into a broadcasting station, one of the important national facilities, is a serious crime. We will arrest all the leaders and perpetrators by analyzing surveillance tapes.'
The 300 members of the Manmin Joong-ang Church broke into MBC on May 11 and brought about the unprecedented dead air from 11:15 p.m., protesting the MBC's documentary 'PD note book' that was being broadcasted at that time.
The current affairs documentary was criticizing the church's minister Lee for heretic and immoral conduct.
