Citizens to Evaluate the Kindness of Public Officials
The Han River Environmental Management Office(HREMO) announced on May 13 that it decided to introduce a 'kindness evaluation system' for citizens.According to the system, visitors deposit a green-card for satisfactory or a yellow card for unsatisfactory with the name of a public officer into a box located in the civil affairs office.
The box will be opened monthly and HREMO plans to issue awards or warnings, accordingly.
HREMO also decided to open up the personnel task improvement plan to all staff in order to share know-how and encourage favorable competition.
The president of HREMO, Kim Young Hwa, said, 'We introduced the new system to repel any irrational behavior and set a positive image for environmental officials.'
