Korean Students Won 11th Asia Pacific Mathmatics Olympiad

Korean high school students won the first prize at the 11th Asia Pacific Mathematics Olympiad, repeating last year's performance.
Out of the 21 teams participating in the Olympiad held here last March, the Korean team scored 19.6(a perfect score is 35) to win, the Korean Association of Mathematics said Tuesday.
Vietnam(18.5), Taiwan(16.2) and the U.S.(15.6) followed the Korean team.
The scores were the average scores of the top 10 students on each team.
Among 44 Korean students attending the competition, Park Young Han from the Kyonggi Science High School won the gold prize.
