Prosecutor to Carry Out Further Investigations of Dress Lobby

The Seoul District Prosecutor's Office's investigation of the 'Dress Lobby' continues on May 30. A face-to-face examination will be conducted between Lee Hyong Ja, wife of Shindongah's group chairman Choi Soon Young, and Bae Jung Suk, wife of former unification minister Kang In Duk.
Mrs Bae was summoned to the Prosecutor's Office last night for the investigation from the Hankook hospital, in downtown Seoul, where she was receiving treatment.
Prosecutors intensively interrogated Mrs Bae in order to ascertain whether she asked Mrs Lee to pay for 24 million won worth of luxurious dresses bought with wives of Korean ministers at Andre Kim's shop and an Italian dress shop at the Galleria Department Store, southern Seoul.
Mrs Bae reportedly insisted that she had never reguested Mrs Lee to pay for the dresses.
Prosecutors plan to summon Mrs Yon, wife of the current justice minister Kim Tae Jung, in order to contribute to further investigations with Mrs Lee and Mrs Bae. This was decided after the interrogation of Mrs Lee and Mrs Bae.
