Civil Organizations Accuse Former Justice Minister

Thirteen civil and labor organizations have accused the former Justice Minister Kim Tae Jong, Senior Prosecutor Jin Hyong Ku and current President of the Korea Security Printing and Minting Corporation (KSPMC) Kang Hee Bok, of abuse of official power, mismanagement of duty and plotting to tame KSPMC unionists, at the Supreme Public Prosecutor's Office Friday.
More than 100 labor union members from the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU), National Victory 21 and Human Rights Movement Sarangbang held a demonstration in front of the Supreme Public Prosecutor's Office and asked for the punishment of those related with the labor scandal.
Moreover, all the staff members of the KCTU began a hunger strike at Myongdong Cathedral while the Federation of Korean Trade Unions decided to hold an all-out strike from June 16.
