Free Medical Service at Subway Station

A free health examination center at a subway station has been established.
'Global Care', a non-profit, volunteer medical service provider, and the Seoul Metropolitan Subway Corporation opened a health center on June 14 that will examine people's blood pressure, fatness rate and check for diabetes and kidney trouble free of charge at City hall station on Seoul's subway line number two, launching the 'Campaign for Citizens Health and Using Public Transportations'.
The center opens daily from 11 am to 7 pm, except for Sundays and holidays. On weekdays, nurses from Global Care conduct examinations and consultations, while volunteer doctors provide medical service on Saturday.
The civilian organization plans to expand the medical service to 10 stations, including Chongno 3-Ga, Chamsil, and Sadang.
