Korean Language Test for Foreigners on Oct. 24
The 3rd Korean Proficiency Test (KPT), a Korean language exam for foreigners and Koreans residing abroad, will be taken on October 24 at 20 institutes in seven countries, including the U.S. and Japan.At the first KPT test in 1997, 711 of 2,274 examinees passed and 2,663 examinees took the test last year, while 1,011 passed.
People who wish to find out about the KPT can apply to the Korea Institute Curriculum & Evaluation Department or refer to its Internet homepage (www.kice.re.kr), from August 16 to September 10.
