Malaria Warning in Kyonggi Area
A malaria warning was announced around most of Kyonggi Province on Friday.According to provincial officials, malaria patients number 198 people this year, which is 33 more recorded in than the same period of 1998.
Paju had 61 documented cases followed by Yonchon with 40 and Kimpo at 23.
The province decided to execute an active campaign to prevent a more serious outbreak. Next week they plan to mobilize the military to assist in the campaign.
