Prosecution to Summon Inchon Mayor Choi

The Inchon District Prosecutor's Office decided to summon Inchon Mayor Choi Ki-sun on July 28 over allegations he took bribes from the head of the now-defunct Kyungki Bank, Suh E-suk.
The prosecution reportedly finished on Tuesday the investigation on the amount of bribe money and the related law.
A source in the prosecution said, 'Only a direct investigation of Choi to determine the accurate amount and account of money is left. We will concentrate on figuring out whether the money went into political campaign funds or whether it was a bribe given to save the bank from being closed.'
Regarding the head of the Pan-Pacific Association, Rhee Yong-woo, who was arrested for having accepted 100 million from Suh last year, the prosecution said that the money seems to be for some private requests rather than for saving the bank because it was provided after the bank became defunct.'
