Lee Aims at Comeback in Computer Business

One-time 'Korean Bill Gates' and former president of 'Hangul & Computer' (Hancom) , Lee Chan-jin(34) is aiming at a dramatic comeback in the computer business world.
'I'm preparing a service network for customers just like the one I set up during my Seoul National University student days. Everybody in the company is equal. My goal at the moment is to develop a convenient Internet system which even kindergarten kids can use as easily as a TV.'
Lee has recently left Hancom after 10 years to establish 'Dream Wiz' with 20 former Hamcom members.
In this company there is no president. Each employee uses the same space and personal computers in the new venture group.
As office hours are flexible, the offices are constantly full of people and the lights are on all night long.
Following the blockbuster success of the nation's first venture company, founder Lee became a member of the National Assembly and even married famous actress Kim Hee-ai.
However, Hancom was damaged by illicit pirate copiers who failed to pay royalties and eventually sold his company in acrimonious circumstances.
Now society turns interested eyes on Lee's new challenge in the Internet world.
