Prosecution Extends President Hong"s Arrest Period
The prosecution, which has been investigating JoongAng Ilbo President Hong Seo-hyun's on the charge of tax evasion, Friday extended Dr. Hong's first arrest deadline until October 19.It summoned President Hong again Friday from the detention house and inquired about the charge that he embezzled company funds.
It will announce the final investigation result on October 19 when he will be indicted.
