PBC Reporter Delivered Shock Document to Jung

It was confirmed on October 28 that a Peace Broadcasting Company (PBC) reporter, Lee Do-jun, had delivered to lawmaker Jung Hyung-keun of the Grand National Party (GNP) the document that suggests the government had planned to carry out a plot to gag the press.
The PBC reporter said that he happened to discover the report in the office of the vice-president of the National Congress for New Politics (NCNP), Lee Chong-chan, and copied it last July, adding that he had given the report to the lawmaker sometime between last August and September.
Jung stated in a press conference late last night that the reporter had met him early September at the National Assembly building and given him the document.
However, the statements made by the reporter and lawmaker differed on the source of the document and the process of its delivery.
Jung allegedly insisted the reporter said, 'the NCNP vice-president asked me to correct stylistic errors in the document written by the former presidential aide Lee Kang-rae, handing it over to me.'
However, the PBC reporter denied that he had said as the lawmaker alleged, adding that he had said nothing about the source of the document.
