Korea-Russia Navy is to Train Together in April

The Korean and Russian navies are planning their first joint exercise.
A spokesperson from the National Ministry of Defense stated that, "state-of-the-art Russian destroyers, belonging to the Pacific fleet, are scheduled to visit the port city of Pusan during the end of April. They are to conduct joint training exercises with the Korean navy."
The Russian fleet has visited Korea three times since 1995, but this will be the first joint training exercise."
One of the Russian destroyers that is scheduled to visit Korea boasts a length of 156m and a width of 17.9m. The ship weighs over 7,000 tons and includes state-of-the-art radar, sonar and fleet-to-air missile capabilities.
