Pak Sang-hee Joins Millenium Democratic Party
Pak Sang-hee, the president of the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business(KFSB) has announced he will join the Millennium Democratic Party as of March 13.The spokesman of the KFSB said, "He is assisting President Kim Dae-jung, and as soon as he returns from Europe, he will formally register to join the party. He was elected a member of congress by the voting constituency."
Though he was invited to join both the ruling party and the Opposition, he decided to join the Millennium party after meeting with President Kim Dae-jung.
He had asked the National Election Commission whether he could be both president of the KFSB and a member of congress. He was given the go-ahead enabling him to hold both positions.
