Investigation into Draft Dodging to Continue after Elections
The joint investigation team examining high-profile draft dodgers will not subpoena the sons of parliamentary candidates, who failed to appear on a summons issued March 31. Investigators have decided to postpone the probe until after the general election. An official on the team said, "We have investigated 19 of 31 cases, with the remaining 12 to be completed after the upcoming general election and upon the return of some suspects who are currently living abroad. We (the joint investigation team) will have to be flexible in light of extraneous circumstances."
