Inchon Election Commission Requests for Investigation
The Inchon Election Commission requested that the Inchon District Public Prosecutors' Office investigate the mayor of Pupyung city, Park Soo-mook, and the head of the General Affairs Bureau for Pupyung, Kwak Yung-ki. The two are suspected of illegally campaigning for the upcoming general election.According to the Election Commission, Mr.Park purchased lunch for 90 female office workers while campaigning on the 30th of March. Mr.Kwak is under suspicion of encouraging employees of the ward office to vote for Park Sang-kyu, a member of the New Millennium Democratics party who is running for election in the Pupyung A district.
