Government Introduces New Anti-Corruption Task Forces

On April 14, the government announced plans to regain public confidence in every city and borough, following the lowest voter turnout ever at a general election.

Special anti-corruption teams will be established in each department of the government to prevent corruption and to investigate reported cases.

Task forces will be created at municipal governments to educate and boost morale among public servants.

The administration also announced new budget retraints and measures to control inflation.
