Vice-Chairman of Ninth CPPCC National Committee Visits Korea
Zhao Nanaqi, a vice-chairman of the Ninth Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee, made an official visit to Korea on April 24.Zhao met the head of the Grand National Party(GNP) Lee Hoi-chang, the representative from the Millenium Democratic Party (MDP) Seo Young-hoon, and the leader of the United Liberal Democrats (ULD) Kim Jong-pil. Zhao stated that China is willing to play a constructive role in successful summit talks between the two Koreas.
Zhao is schedule to meet President Kim Dae-jung on April 25.
