President Konare of Mali to Visit Korea
President Alpha Oumar Konare and the first lady of Mali will travel to Korea on a state visit from May 8 to May 10. The announcement was made by Chong Wa Dae spokesperson Park Joon-young on April 25.President Konare will have a summit meeting with President Kim at Chong Wa Dae on May 8. This will be President Konare's first visit to Korea since the two countries signed a treaty of amity in 1990,
The two countries are to conclude an economic and technological cooperation agreement as well as as an investment security agreement aimed at promoting economic cooperation.
