Citizens to Challenge Nomination Procedure in Lawsuit

The Taegu branch of the Citizens' Coalition For Economic Justice (CCEJ) will go to court to try to revoke the nomination of Kim Man-jae, a chairman of the election management committee of the Grand National Party (GNP).

The citizen's group asserts that the GNP did not fully disclose the party's voting procedures leading to Kim's nomination in the 16th General Elections.

It will be the first-ever lawsuit challenging the nomination procedure of this country's political parties.

"We are challenging all elected candidates with this action. The system is on trial!"
