New Chairman of Korea Diplomatic Society
The Korea Diplomatic Society appointed Choi Ho-joong, the former deputy prime minister and minister of Natinal Unification, as the successor of Park Dong-jin at the 2000 general meeting held on April 28.The new chairman Choi worked as an ambassador to Malaysia and as a minister of Foreign Affairs until 1990 when he took the post of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Unification for 2 years until 1992.
The Korea Diplomatic Society is an association that supports national level diplomatic affairs.
