Parties Meet Again for the Launch of The 16th National Assembly
Floor leaders Park Sang-chun (MDP), Lee Bu-young (GNP) and Oh Jang-sup (ULD) will meet on May 8 to negotiate the upcoming launch of the 16th National Assembly.The MDP, while insisting that the parliament chairperson must be elected from the ruling party, is willing to negotiate on the matter of an open competition.
It is anticipated that the mitigation of constitutional requisites for negotiation bodies and the allocation of the number of standing committee members will attract the most attention.
