Nicaraguan President Visits South Korea
Republic of Nicaragua president Arnold Aleman, along with the First Lady, arrived in South Korea on May 13. The Alemans arrived in South Korea at the invitation of President Kim Dae-jung. The Nicaraguan president and First Lady will visit the nation for three days.President Kim and President Aleman will hold official talks at Chong Wa Dae(the president's official residence) to discuss economic cooperation, particularly, securing investments and creating networks for eletricity networks.
This is the first time since 1962 that a Nicaraguan president has visited South Korea.
