GNP Ask Prime Minister to Resign
The Grand National Party (GNP) asked Prime Minister Park Tae-joon to resign as the fact that Prime Minister Park had transfered the title of his real estate to another was revealed on May 18.Chung Chang-wha, the policy committee chairman, urged Prime Minister Park to resign saying that Park's behavior in amassing properties was an act of betrayal of the people who have suffered during the financial crisis.
Also, Chang Kwang-keun, chief deputy spokesman, stated that Prime Minister Park should retire with a sense of his lack of moral sensibility.
