Clinton and Kim Yong-nam Meet in September

Kim Yong-nam, the chairman of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of North Korea will attend the Millennium Assembly of the United Nations on September 6 and hold bilateral talks with U.S. President Bill Clinton, according to JIJI Press of Japan.

A source from Tokyo's diplomatic circle said that Kim Yong-nam will hand down a letter from the North Korean leader, Kim Jong-il, expressing North Korea's wish to "revise" North-U.S. relations during the talks. The upcoming meeting will be the highest-level talks ever held between North Korea and the United States.
