GNP demands Minister of Education to step down

Kwon Chul-hyeon, the spokeman of the Grand National Party demanded that Song Ja, the Minister of Education resign.

"Before his appointment when he served as an outside director of Samsung Electronics Co., he assumed the company's forfeited shares and unethically gained profits worth $1,490,000," alleged Kwon. He went on to stress, "If Song fails to return that money, he will face a serious backlash from the public who will consider him to be unethical leader."

The GNP is also considering ways of Song's dismissal to be presented during the regular Assembly session this coming September.
