6-Day Visit by Zhu Includes President Kim Talks
Prime Minister Zhu Rong-ji of China will arrive in Seoul on Tuesday for a six-day official visit.Mr. Zhu will hold talks Wednesday with President Kim Dae-jung in which they will discuss recent developments in inter-Korean relations, general Korean affairs and economic cooperation between Seoul and Beijing, officials said.
Also on Wednesday, the prime minister will attend the signing of a criminal extradition treaty between Seoul and Beijing by the South Korean foreign minister, Lee Joung-binn, and his Chinese counterpart, Tang Jiaxuan.
Mr. Zhu will then lead the Chinese delegation to the third Asia-Europe Meeting in Seoul later in the week. He leaves for China on Sunday.
