Costa Rican Supports Seoul's Bid for Peace
President Miguel Angel Rodriguez of Costa Rica expressed his continued support for South Korea's efforts to build peace on the Korean peninsula during talks with President Kim Dae-jung on Friday.He also offered his assessment of the current state of inter-Korean relations.
Mr. Kim acknowledged Costa Rica's role in leading the development of democracy and regional integration in Central America and agreed on the reopening of the Costa Rica Embassy in Seoul in the near future. The embassy was closed for financial reasons.
