60% Like Night Stock Trading

A survey of 760 experienced stock investors by a polling company, Embrain, said that about 63 percent of respondents would be interested in trading on a night-time over-the-counter electronic stock market.

Respondents that favored such trading pointed to the convenience of the trading hours as the main reason for favoring it. Other perceived merits of the system, according to the polled investors, include the ability to analyze stocks after the conclusion of the day's trading on the Korea Stock Exchange or Kosdaq markets, and the attraction of less-expensive commission fees.

Respondents who were unenthusiastic about after-hours trading said they were not convinced that they could trust the system, and also cited insufficient investment information as a drawback.
