Chinese Official Here Wednesday
Li Peng, chairman of China's National People's Congress, will arrive in Seoul on Wednesday for a five day visit, the ministry of foreign affairs and trade announced Monday.Mr. Li, who holds the Communist Party's number two post behind President Jiang Zemin, will pay a courtesy call on President Kim Dae-jung and meet with Lee Man-sup, speaker of the National Assembly, and Prime Minister Lee Han-dong to discuss, in diplomatic jargon, "the promotion of friendly bilateral ties."
He is also expected to meet with business leaders here.
