Roadshows Working for Hynix
The U.S.-based investment firm Newbridge Capital Inc. is interested in purchasing about $200 million worth of global depository receipts issued by Hynix Semiconductor Inc., Dow Jones Newswires reported Wednesday.Dow Jones reported that some American funds are looking at the debt-ridden chipmaker's high-risk and high-return depository receipts, with Newbridge showing the most interest.
Hynix and its financial adviser, Salomon Smith Barney, are holding roadshows worldwide to attract investments through sales of the depository receipts and $305 million worth of high-yield bonds.
