Conference to Mark Declaration
A task force preparing for joint events at the civilian level to mark the first anniversary of the inter-Korean Joint Declaration has agreed to hold a "people's conference" and other events at Mount Kumgang on June 15."At working-level talks held at Mount Kumgang we agreed to hold a people's conference on June 15 as suggested by the North," the task force announced Wednesday.
Two hundred people from each side will participate in the conference, titled "The June 15 Joint Declaration and the People's Task," and two hundred visitors from the South will be allowed as non-participants.
