Toffler Gives Kim a 'Vision of Korea'
The futurist Alvin Toffler, noting on Thursday that Korea has already constructed a world-class information infrastructure, suggested that the nation should create a development strategy that meets its unique conditions.The Ministry of Information and Communication said Mr.Toffler made the remarks while reporting to President Kim Dae-jung on his paper, "Over the Crisis: Visions of Korea in the 21st Century." The Korea Information Society Development Institute asked Mr. Toffler to write the paper.
He will deliver a lecture Friday morning on the "Emerging Third Wave in Korea" at Seoul's Convention and Exhibition Center.
