Korea, Germany to Swap Data

The Financial Supervisory Commission said Friday it had agreed on a cooperative relationship with Germany's financial watchdog agency, the Federal Office of Bank Supervision.

Yoo Jee-chang, the commission's deputy chairman, held the initial talks for the arrangement this week with Jochen Sanio, the head of the German agency, in Bonn. The two officials signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at exchanging information and personnel and cooperating to improve financial supervision in both countries.
