&#91LETTERS TO THE EDITOR&#93Time to turn our backs on South Korea

It would seem that more and more people in South Korea are hating America from what we here in the United States can see. I would like to take this time to tell you how a large number of people have begun to feel about our presence in South Korea. I would also like to remind you that in the early part of the 1950s, America lost 57,000 young men in the defense of South Korea. We here in America feel that with the hate and unrest for us in South Korea we should take our troops out and let you in South Korea work out your own problems. I feel sure that were we to do that, North Korea and their weak economy, their starving people and massive military would overrun the South. But not many here in the USA care after seeing and reading about all of the "Hate America" demonstrations we see on the news. So in closing, all I can say is that I couldn't care less about what happens there. I would also like to see America stop all imports of Korean products.
