Check to see if there are any external damage in the casing and the pin. Weigh the canister and shake it to check if the chemicals inside have not leaked. Make sure you check the pressure pin. It should be pointing to the green. Check for cracks in the hose. Finally, once a month, turn the extinguisher upside down to mix the chemicals inside.
