Joins, NHN in a Web venture
Joins.com (www.joins.com), an internet affiliate of the Joongang Daily, has joined hands with Internet portal NHN (www.naver.com). Kim Jin-ki, the chief executive of Joins.com, and Lee Hae-jin, the chief executive of NHN, signed a memorandum of understanding at the Shilla Hotel in Seoul yesterday, agreeing for the two businesses to cooperate. “The alliance will enhance the efficiency of work flows at the two companies,” an NHN official said at yesterday’s signing. The two companies will create a task force led by executives from each to develop a joint business model. The business model will be totally new to both companies, a Joins.com official said.
