&#91LETTERS TO THE EDITOR&#93Write names Korean way

The Centennial of Korean Immigration was held in January in the United States, attracting Korean leaders and celebrities. But after seeing the way Koreans list their names in English on their business cards, I could not help but wonder whether Koreans still felt inferior to the United States and the Western world.
Koreans put their family name ahead of their first name. Westerners do just the opposite. For example, in the name Lee Mong-yong, Lee is the family name. Mong-yong Lee or even Lee, Mong-yong, is not used.
For Koreans, following the Western way for name order is entirely inappropriate.
