&#91LETTERS TO THE EDITOR&#93Internet mall forgot its promise

Recently I received an e-mail advertisement from an Internet shopping mall saying if I became a member I would get a free lottery ticket. I became a member, but did not buy anything from that shopping mall because I knew nothing about it.
And I have never received a lottery ticket despite the promise. Later, I received an e-mail saying I was awarded fourth prize in a lottery drawing. I telephoned the company, and the firm said the award notice was sent by a computer mistake. The clerk promised that he would send a lottery ticket the next week, but it never came.
I was upset, not because I did not receive a lottery ticket but because Internet shopping malls are trying to lure customers with such cheap schemes.
Trust is the life of an Internet shopping company, and such deceptive marketing may damage other honest Internet businesses.
