NATIONAL FOLK MUSEUM OF KOREA

One exhibition depicts the life cycle of a Korean living the traditional lifestyle. Phases of life from birth to youth to old age are explained, as well as the person’s changing social position. Formal initiations to these stages through rites of coming-of age, marriage, funeral and memorial services are also shown.
