GEUMSAN GINSENG FESTIVAL

From Friday to Dec. 7: Geumsan, a location known for producing ginseng, is holding a festival to celebrate its product’s rich culture. Planned events include traditional prayers to mountain gods to watch over townspeople and keep crops thriving, as well as traditional musical performances. Visitors will receive free blood pressure screenings. Medications made from ginseng as well as ginseng dishes will be available for purchase. Also not to be missed is the Ms. Gingseng contest.
