New Samsung, Pantech phones
Samsung Electronics Co. and Pantech & Curitel Communications Inc. will sell cellular phones that include built-in 1.3-megapixel digital cameras. Samsung said yesterday that it has produced a new mobile phone with the digital camera, which can also videotape for up to 130 minutes. The new model SCH-V420 has a digital zoom function and a memory slot. Samsung will begin selling the product next week. Pantech & Curitel also said that it has developed a cellular phone with a 1.3-megapixel digital camera. “We already finished testing the new phones with communications companies,” said an official of the mobile phone manufacturer. He said that it would sell the phones as early as next week.
