Ministry will give help to nine technologies
The Ministry of Information and Communication plans to give a boost to nine industries, including wristwatch computers, home network services and mobile Internet services through cellular phones, Chin Dae-je, the minister, said in a briefing for Blue House officials yesterday. He also said it would create 300,000 new jobs in the information technology industry by 2007; ministries have rolled out a series of job-creation plans ― or hopes ― as the legislative elections in April approach.
