Korea, Czech Republic announce IT deal
The Ministry of Information and Technology said yesterday that South Korea has reached an agreement with the Czech Republic to assist the central European nation in the field of information technology. The ministry said Korea will help the Czech Republic establish a mobile communications network, and will help boost the Czech online gaming industry. Also yesterday, the Korea Advanced Institute of Technology announceed that Korea’s information technology exports in March were up 46 percent from the same month in 2003, reaching a total of $6.3 billion.
