TU Media starts mobile phone broadcasts
TU Media launched a test run of satellite digital multimedia broadcasting today after delays caused by conflicts between local networks and major broadcasting companies. TU Media, an affiliate of SK Telecom, the largest mobile service provider here, will offer three television and six radio channels. The trial service will be available for free on a new Samsung Electronics phone model supporting the service. The phone, however, costs 850,000 won ($806).
