Samsung, ReignCom received design awards
BusinessWeek magazine reported yesterday that five of Korea’s products, including Samsung Electronics’ laptop and ReignCom’s iRiver MP3 player, received the Industrial Designer’s Society of America’s 2005 world’s best design awards. Samsung Electronics’ M40 laptop received the silver award in the computer category and Miniket Camcorder received the bronze in the Design Strategy category. Samsung Techwin’s UF-80 digital presenter received the silver in the enterprise utility category. ReignCom’s iRiver IFP1000 MP3 player with a digital camera received the silver award in the category of consumer utility.
