KAIST offers program in culture, technology

In an attempt to fuse the studies of culture and science, the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology opened the doors of its new Graduate School of Culture Technology yesterday at its campus in Daejeon. The graduate school is the first educational institute in Korea to combine studies of culture and information technology on a practical level. Students will focus on three areas of study: culture content technology, culture business management and culture content planning. Beginning in September, 21 students will begin the master’s program and nine will be enrolled in a doctoral program. Faculty for the graduate school is comprised of KAIST professors as well as esteemed professors in universities both in Korea and abroad.
