Busy signals to end for KT phone users

The nation’s largest fixed-line phone operator, KT Corp., announced that, as early as March, it would launch a service to automatically connect calls to busy receipients once the receiver hangs up. A customer who calls a busy line will hear a voice message asking him to press the star key to select automatic connection, and then hang up. Customers will not have to register for the service, the carrier said. The service will only be available to subscribers of KT landline phones.
