Samsung monitors best in Germany
Samsung Electronics Co. said yesterday that the German computer magazine PC Magazine has selected Samsung monitors as the “best brand” for seven years in a row. The annual survey of customer satisfaction was based on 25,000 readers of the magazine. Germany’s renowned information technology Web site “Toms-Hardware Guide” has also chosen Samsung Electronics as the best maker of monitors. Samsung monitor sales have ranked number one in Germany since 2004, and products 19 inches or larger make up over 60 percent of sales in the European country. Samsung said its premium-quality monitors are sold at prices about 20 percent higher than average monitors.
